You fly home a few days after surgery, and your recovery is only just beginning. The swelling, stiffness and fatigue of the first weeks ease faster with a programme designed by specialists. At Medicine Park you continue your recovery in Bucharest, following your surgeon’s instructions — whether you had surgery in Turkey, elsewhere abroad or in Romania.

We have grouped recovery into three packages, at the same prices every patient of the clinic pays. You know from day one what it costs and what you get.

Drainage package — after cosmetic surgery

10 sessions · 1,500 RON (150 RON per session)

For liposuction, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), BBL and breast surgery — breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift.

• manual lymphatic drainage for swelling (oedema) and hardened areas under the skin (fibrosis);
• care of the area around the scar, to keep the skin supple;
• after breast surgery: shoulder mobility and posture;
• 2–3 sessions a week, starting in the first days after you are back.

Movement package — after bariatric surgery

10 sessions · 1,500 RON (150 RON per session)

For gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, metabolic surgery and gastric balloon.

• an assessment of your starting fitness;
• a progressive programme: walking and mobility first, then strength exercises;
• the goal: the weight you lose should be fat, not muscle;
• 2 sessions a week, plus a programme you continue at home.

Orthopaedic and spine package

15 sessions · 2,025 RON (135 RON per session)

For knee or hip replacement, ligament, meniscus and shoulder surgery, and for spine surgery: operated disc herniation, spinal fusion.

• physiotherapy in stages: pain and swelling first, then mobility, strength, balance and walking;
• 2–3 sessions a week, for about 6 weeks;
• after spine surgery, exercise usually starts 4–6 weeks after the operation.

• a free first assessment — we read your discharge letter and agree the plan with you;
