What kinesio taping can do for you
What is kinesio taping?
Kinesiology tapes are elastic cotton strips with hypoallergenic adhesive, applied directly to the skin. Unlike classic bandaging, which immobilises, kinesio tape supports muscles and joints while preserving freedom of movement — exactly what a body in active recovery needs.
How does it work?
Applied with the right tension and direction, the tape gently lifts the skin, reducing pressure on pain receptors and stimulating local circulation. Depending on the technique, it can relax an overworked muscle, activate an inhibited one, or stabilise a joint.
